Building & Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 NSW Part 1: How to make a claim
Overview of the module
This module explains in simple English the issues you will need to know if you find yourself in a situation where you have to lodge an application to be paid under the Security of Payment Act 1999 NSW. Preparation of a payment claim and adjudication application is described.
This module will take you approximately four (4) hours to complete.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the purpose of the Act
- Know who is covered by the Act
- Able to prepare a payment claim
- Able to prepare an adjudication application
- Know the critical timeframes required to make a valid Adjudication Application
